The 8th edition of the Nyege Nyege Festival in 2023, held at Nyege Wonderland in Jinja, Uganda, made history once again. Between November 9th and 12th, the festival drew in a staggering crowd of over 25,000 music enthusiasts, including 3,000 international tourists, solidifying its status as a premier East African tourism destination.
106.5 NRG Radio, making its debut appearance at one of Africa's most renowned music festivals, lived up to its reputation as the top name in music. The entire weekend was transformed as NRG boldly shifted all their shows to Jinja, between NRG's temporary home at Signature Apartments and the vibrant Nyege Wonderland. From stage takeovers to electrifying performances, NRG's DJs and MCs dominated the festival scene, leaving audiences craving more.
